چکیده

The cadherin Dsg2 plays critical roles in cell growth and survival is up-regulated many cancers including skin head neck. We recently showed that down-regulates the tumor suppressor, miR-146a, up-regulates pro-inflammatory chemokine, IL-8. Furthermore, enhances small extracellular vesicle (sEV) release, which serve as a carrier of IL-8 on their surface potentially for receptor transactivation. In this study, bulk RNAseq analysis HNSCC biopsies from patients treated with PD-1 inhibitor, nivolumab, revealed was significantly higher HPV (+) compared to HPV(-) before treatment down-regulated response treatment. Visium spatial transcriptomic single confirmed Dsg2, IRAK1, are co-expressed malignant, aggressive cells. HPV(+) non-responders had levels plasma determined by ELISA, blood-borne sEV miR-146a lower non-responders, indicating miR-146a/Dsg2/IL-8 signaling axis may influence clinical trial outcome. To assess role SCC, we used XMIRXpress system overexpress facilitate loading into sEV. Treatment cells loaded decreased IRAK1 reduced proliferative capacity. Using xenograft model, lines expressing burden control. Overall, elevated favorable prognostic marker HNSCC, functions mechanistically its regulation

MiR-205/YAP1 in Activated Fibroblasts of Breast Tumor Promotes VEGF-independent Angiogenesis through STAT3 Signaling

Tumor microenvironment contributes to tumor angiogenesis. However, the role of the activated cancer associated-fibroblasts (CAFs) in angiogenesis is still unclear. Here we report that miR-205/YAP1 signaling in the activated stromal fibroblasts plays a critical role in VEGF-independent angiogenesis in breast tumor. Methods: miR-205 expression was assessed by quantitative real-time polymerase cha...

Long Noncoding RNA H19/miR-675 Axis Promotes Gastric Cancer via FADD/Caspase 8/Caspase 3 Signaling Pathway.

BACKGROUND Long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) H19 is emerging as a vital regulatory molecule in the progression of different types of cancer and miR-675 is reported to be embedded in H19's first exon. However, their function and specific mechanisms of action have not been fully elucidated. The aim of this study was to identify a novel lncRNA-microRNA-mRNA functional network in gastric cancer. METHOD...

TGFβ1 Promotes Gemcitabine Resistance through Regulating the LncRNA-LET/NF90/miR-145 Signaling Axis in Bladder Cancer

High tumor recurrence is frequently observed in patients with urinary bladder cancers (UBCs), with the need for biomarkers of prognosis and drug response. Chemoresistance and subsequent recurrence of cancers are driven by a subpopulation of tumor initiating cells, namely cancer stem-like cells (CSCs). However, the underlying molecular mechanism in chemotherapy-induced CSCs enrichment remains la...

Adrenergic signaling promotes angiogenesis through endothelial cell-tumor cell crosstalk.

Angiogenesis is an important factor in invasive tumor growth, progression, and metastasis. Multiple proangiogenic mechanisms are involved in tumor angiogenesis. In this study, we showed that the neurotransmitter norepinephrine upregulated VEGF (VEGFA) expression in breast cancer cells and that the culture supernatant from norepinephrine-treated breast cancer cells promoted the formation of the ...
